Spring on the beach

For the second weekend in a row our country was blessed with an extremely sunny crisp sunday. IJmuiden is just the place to savour the sensation of that first spring morning on the beach after a long cold winter. To the characteristic backdrops of the steam belching steelworks, there's an interesting walk on the south pier. There're fishermen,birdwatchers, ships and slow waves gently breaking on the concrete cubes.
